How many things can I put on my plate????

So this morning I am testy....out of sorts....am I setting myself up to fall flat on my face???
Just how many things can I put on a plate?....How many plates can I hold in my hands?....
I am reminded of the jugglers that you see....spinning plates on sticks while standing on chairs
balancing.....while the crowd oooh's and ahhhhh's!
That is how I feel this morning.....but the balancing act is not going so well......

My wish for you today ....

A crowd of people to ooh and ahh at your spinning abilities. Then when you are tired someone will step in and take your place for awhile. If the worst should happen, that all the plates fall and break, then I wish for you friends to sit with you as you pick up the pieces and move on.

May you find just enough love on those plates to keep 'em spinning.

Blessings and peace to you and yours.

came over to see how you and Michael are doing and knew i wanted to stop in and say "hi"...but i really wasn't too sure what ELSE i would say..just read Merry ME's note - and THAT is what i want to say (and the hug, like Brenda said as well) - so, ditto to Merry ME's wishes and blessings, ditto to the hug - I'm sending my heart. The plate/balance/spinning thing whew..sounds so hard! I've had that feeling, but don't think i've had as many plates going as you do...hope the plates are melmac (is that what those plastic-ish, unbreakable dishes were?? from the stone age...grin)...

Dear Pattie:

Being overwhelmed can be so paralyzing, turning over these "great" concerns to a larger power can bring some relief and clarity to it all.

Living one day at a time and sometimes one minute, one hour can get you through.

I've been seeking out wisdom in the poems of Rumi and the other day I read:

"Night cancels the business of day:
inertia recharges the mind.
Then the day cancels the night,
and inertia disappears in the light.
Though we sleep and rest in the dark,
doesn't the dark contain the water of life?
Be refreshed in the darkness.
Doesn't a moment of silence restore beauty to the voice?..."

I do believe that the dark contains the water of life and I wish for you to drink deeply.

I wish for you to let go of your "big girl panties" and know that your panties are the perfect size for you. By letting go trust your panties won't fall down.

You are special and you are doing "wonder fulled" things. Managing what we are given takes courage and perseverence and you have had that all along.

My thoughts and prayers are with you...
